IRS Application Filing UPDATE

MORE GREAT NEWS! Monday, we will be filing IRS form 1023 Application for tax exempt status. This will give us 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt status, and we will officially be a charity. It can take several months for the IRS to process, so we will keep you updated as soon as we receive communicaiton from the IRS.

Meanwhile, we will be putting up all our documentaion online in PDF format so everyone will be able to see everything. Truly, a public chartity.

SEE WHERE YOUR MONEY REALLY GOES:

This is THE most frequently asked question, and therefore, the most IMPORTANT one to us. To answer this we need to make a few things very clear.

#1. We are a BRAND NEW charity JUST formed in November 08 from absolutely NOTHING. $0.00. QIK.com was the first corporate sponsor to step up and rise to the occasion.

#2. The board of directors are 100% VOLUNTEER and UNSALARIED. We do not have any paid employees.

With that said, we ask you to make a small donation, even as little as $1.00 will help.

WHAT WE DO is entirely dependant on how much funds we have available. We then decide what issue or cause we can REALISTICALLY take on and show real results and improvements.

If we have $500.00 available... we might be able to feed a few families who just lost their job, or were laid off.

If we have $5,000 available, we might be able to help someone who needs a prosthetic and doesn't have any funds or insurance.

Again, what we DO is entirely dependant on YOU.

The Non Profit Organization is a charity that IS NOT locked into one specific focus or function. We will focus on whatever issue or cause happens to need attention at that particular moment.

This is our phillosophy.
